- Account set-up details (email address and username) in order to process an entry to our Awards.
- Business contact details including your email address if you contact us
- Your email address and subscription preferences when you sign up to our email alerts, deadline reminders or enter one of our awards.
- When and how you interact with our emails – for example whether you open them and which links you click on
- Your Internet Protocol (IP) address, and details of which version of web browser you used

Who are we?
GCN Events is wholly owned by Global Conference Network. We work with sister organisations such as training organisation the Media House and also partner with some like-minded companies who help us deliver our events and awards.

We collect business contact details from individuals to keep you informed of our events or to process a transaction.
How will we use the information you provide?
We would add you to our database to keep you updated about awards deadlines or event offers; send emails about related products and to process the bookings, entries or orders you have submitted. We DO NOT sell or share your email address although we do, on occasion, send offers from our partners that we believe you’d be interested in receiving. What are your rights?
If at any point you believe the information we process on you is incorrect you request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Liaison dataprivacy@globalconferencenetwork.co.uk who will investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Where your data is stored?
We store your data on secure servers in the European Economic Area (EEA).
Keeping your data secure Sending information over the internet is generally not completely secure, and we can’t guarantee the security of your data while it’s in transit.
